Dialtune Mic Mount Adapter
Dialtune Mic Mount Adapter
Use the mic mounts you already own.
Dialtune hoops are larger than traditional drum hoops, which means many standard rim-mounted microphone clips do not fit properly. The Dialtune Mic Mount Adapter solves that problem by giving your existing mic mount a compatible place to grab — so you do not have to buy an expensive specialty drum mic mount just to mic your drum.
Each adapter clips directly onto your Dialtune hoop and creates a stable mounting point for many standard drum mic clips and rim-mounted microphone systems.
Available in two versions:
Snare Adapter — designed for Dialtune snare drum hoops
Tom Adapter — designed for Dialtune tom hoops
Why you’ll want it:

Does dialtune tune the top and bottom heads independently?
Yes, you can control the tuning of the top and bottom heads independently using separate dials on either side of the drum. Check out our videos online for more information.
How do I change the cable on a dialtune snare?
Changing a cable is a simple process and should be part of the regular maintenance you perform on your Dialtune snare drum. Dialtune's cable system uses high-tech synthetic fiber cable rated at over 500-lbs. Each length comes pre-stretched and carries zero memory, meaning it can be coiled and uncoiled easily without retaining any shape or structure. The cable is designed for smart failure, where it frays rather than snaps to prevent any damage to you or your drum. Most often, cable wears fastest near the dial as it is wound upon itself when tuning the drum up and down. If you tune your drum to a setting and leave it, the cable should hold for months if not years without needing to be replaced. The more you tune, the more frequently you'll want to check - and if need be - change your cable.
We've put together a video to walk you step by step through the process of changing a cable for either the top or bottom drum heads.
Can I put Dialtune's cable system on my current snare drum?
Not yet. Because of the wide variety of snare drums on the market, each
drum has a unique lug pattern that makes it difficult to apply dialtune's cable tuning system. To ensure the technology works, we are starting by making dialtune as a complete snare drum so we can have more control over the quality! We hope to tackle an aftermarket version in the future.
Will a Dialtune snare break if I drop it? Is it built to last?
We built dialtune to perform no matter what you throw at it. To prove this, we threw a drum off our 30ft roof to demonstrate dialtune's durability.
