Inside the Dialtune Artist Program
We were entrusted with an idea; our work is to steward it well. That means building excellent drums real players can afford, keeping our word, and growing with the people who play them.
This is the why and the how behind our Artist Program— centered on this:
We build drums. YOU make them matter.
Why our program exists
Most of us start by imitating our heroes. Then we hit walls, learn who we are (and aren’t), and find our voice. The Artist Program exists to support that arc—for working drummers, rising players, and lifers who care about the craft.
- Built with working drummers. Real stage/studio feedback → fast changes → shipped updates.
- No exclusivity. Play what you love. If Dialtune helps you play better, great. If not, tell us why—we’ll listen and fix what we can.
- Character over clout. We partner with people who have integrity, work hard, speak the truth, mentor others and treat people right.
- Pay the player. All customers get the best price through artist codes. Artists get paid.
- Keep our word (hold us accountable PLEASE). We protect our tech, our IP, our reputation, and our relationships—– and… when you think we aren’t, then we want to know… because trust very hard to earn, and very easy to lose.
Bottom line: We build tools. YOU give them purpose.
What you can expect from us
- A real build loop. You share notes from gigs, sessions, and tours. We test, iterate, and ship improvements.
- Honesty and Healthy Vulnerability. Clear expectations, open conversations, insight into what it takes to build a drum company. And, from the artist perspective, what works well with brand partnerships and what doesn’t.
- Mutual Promotion. Content sessions in our studio, collabs, intros, and practical support to grow your channel. We’re growing in influence, you have influence, how can we help grow each others influence for the benefit of the industry?
- Best offers through you our artists. Your code is the best way for customers to buy Dialtune. That value should flow to the player, not a middleman. We will run discounts occasionally, but still, your promo code stacks on top of that. AND your commission still applies. We have an opportunity to build something different, are you in?
- Long-game partnership. We’ll grow with the right people, at the right pace. Trust is earned. Both-ways. We tend to be self-sacrificial for the sake of a long-term partnership we believe in. It’s paid off in some amazing partnerships with real mutual benefits. We lead with hope and vision, and then let action do the talking. We know that you have built equity with your audience. We aren’t here to take advantage of that. Meaning, if we as a company/brand/founders aren’t actually providing value to your craft… 1. Why are you interested in what we are doing? And 2. Tell us so we actually can.
What artists get
- A seat at the table. Your input shapes real decisions. Real $ spent on product. Real risk as we iterate.
- Early access. New hardware, finishes, and tweaks—you see them first and provide input – and we rely on it.
- Discount Codes for your audience that actually help. Your audience gets the best price, always; you get paid.
- Studio time @ Dialtune HQ (capacity allowing). Capture performances, riffs, and walkthroughs.
- Commission. Earn on qualified sales tied to your code/links.
- Gear credit. Accrue credit you can apply toward Dialtune gear and upgrades.
The Dialtune Artist Program isn’t about who’s got the biggest following — it’s about who’s putting in the work. We team up with drummers who play hard, give honest feedback, and help make our gear better for everyone.
If you’re an experienced drummer with a clear voice, unique sound, and a passion for collaboration — please apply!
Dialtune Sessions
If you’re a pro drummer or artist on tour and passing through Seattle, we sometimes open up Dialtune Sessions at the HQ (capacity allowing).
These are focused studio hangs where you can:
- Play the Dialtune kit in the live room – get hands-on with the system on a full studio kit.
- Tune and experiment – quickly dial in top and bottom heads, explore different sounds, and hear how it sits in a real mix.
- Run a few takes – play to a backing track, rip a solo, or capture a few riffs/walkthroughs.
- Sit for a short interview – share how you approach drums, tuning, and sound.
These sessions are designed for artists who are actively working—on tour, doing press, or in town for shows—who want to see what Dialtune can actually do in a real studio environment, not a retail floor.
