Inside the Dialtune Headquarters and Studio in Seattle, WA
Dialtune HQ is our corner of MOB Studios, a fully working recording studio and the place we design, test, and ship drums, shoot content, and work with artists.
This isnβt a traditional retail shop. Itβs where we design, test, and ship drums, shoot content, and work with artists. When you visit, youβre stepping into our actual workspace.Β
What happens at the HQ & Studio
At Dialtune HQ, youβll find:
- A working studio β Sessions, writing, and tracking happen here regularly.
- Prototype Dialtune kit β Our current prototype kit is set up in the live room.
- Snare lineup + hardware β Hands-on access to our snares and the Dialtune tuning system.
- Content + R&D space β Where we film, experiment, and push new ideas forward.
Studio Tours
We offer studio tours by appointment when our team is in the office (typically MondayβFriday).
On a tour, you can:
- Get a walkthrough of the studio and Dialtune workspace
- See our prototype kit and snares up close
- If the studio is open, sit down and play the kit
- If a session is happening and the artist/engineer is okay with it, quietly sit in for a few minutes to see the room in action
Tours are limited and scheduled around active sessions and office hours, so booking ahead is required.
Want to try a snare without booking a tour?

Mob Studio Sessions
Mob Studios started in 2008 inside a gritty 100-year-old warehouse in Seattleβs SODO district, recording local punk and indie bands on word-of-mouth alone. Over the years, theyβve turned that crash pad into one of the most capable β and still affordable β recording and content studios in the city, backed by a crew that actually cares about getting great results for working artists.
The team has spent years collecting, modding, and even hand-building gear to get βbig budgetβ sound and picture without big budget rates. From Neumann mics and Coles ribbons to analog tape machines, custom preamps, and carefully tuned rooms, everything is set up to move fast and sound right. On the video side, Canon cinema cameras, BlackMagic systems, proper lighting, and live-stream infrastructure mean you can walk in, perform, and walk out with release-ready content.
At Mob, youβre not just renting a room β youβre plugging into engineers and producers with decades of experience who can dial in anything from tight modern mixes to warm, vibey analog tones.
What you can do at Mob Studios:
- Record music β Full band tracking, overdubs, mixing, and mastering with a fully micβd drum kit and a deep mic/preamp/outboard collection.
- Podcast production β Clean, broadcast-ready podcast recording with proper mics, monitoring, and post-production support.
- Live stream & performance capture β Multi-camera video, pro audio, and lighting for live streams, sessions, and performance videos.
- Content studio β Cameras, lighting, and video processing for social content, playthroughs, promos, and education pieces.
- Events & listening sessions β Host intimate performances, listening parties, clinics, or private events in a real working studio.
- Backline on site β Quality drums (the dialtune kit!), pianos, keys, amps, and instruments ready to go, so you can travel lighter.
