As we head into 2024, we've got three exciting new colorways to share with you! Our Matte Black has been so popular, we thought it only appropriate to feature it's natural opposite - Matte White. We love the classic satin burst on guitars, so we're excited to drop our own Maple Burst version. And we wanted to do something to usher in Spring and bring out a bright color that would compliment just about any kit - meet the new Seafoam Blue!
Matte White
Sometimes called flat, matte finishes have a low gloss percentage, meaning they don't reflect much light creating a cool effect. Our Matte White pops with the chrome hardware and draws your eyes to the snare. Because matte colors are great at hiding surface imperfections, this finish gives the drum an especially smooth appearance.
Maple Burst
Burst colorways have a long history in musical instruments, originally inspired by imitating classical violin finishes. Burst colorways became popularized with guitars in the 50s and 60s, eventually making their way to drums. Today, burst finishes are a fun nod to the intricate details of the wood grain with a fun shift in color as you get closer to the edges.
Seafoam Blue
Seafoam Blue is an incredibly warm and playful color! This finish changes slightly depending on the camera and lighting you're using. It can appear more blue, or more green depending on the room. We took a photo below of the snare next to our Surf Green bass drum for comparison. We LOVE this color, and hope you will too!
We're cooking up a bunch of other fun updates for 2024. Got a color or finish you want to see? Let us know!
