Dialtune Drums: NAMM Show Week Update

It's that time of year again, NAMM Show Week! While we're bummed to not be there in person, we do have some exciting updates to share with our community of drummers.

First, we're pleased to announce that we're nearing completion on our new line of Dialtune snares! We started development shortly after we launched our Maker Series in 2020. The goal has been to improve upon the design while lowering the cost. While we still have a little time before we're ready to unveil the result, we are ABSOLUTELY THRILLED with how it's coming together. We're currently targeting mid-to-late summer to have new snares in stock. These snares will feature new finish options, as well as a few surprises in shells types that we'll be rolling out starting at launch. We've received a ton of questions around pre-orders, and the answer is Yes! We will launch pre-orders as soon as we have confidence on final delivery dates. Stay tuned!

But it's NAMM Conference Week, so let's talk innovation! Dialtune's cable tuning system has completely changed the game when it comes to playing drums and finding the exact sound you're looking for. As the only snare on the market that allows drummers to quickly and evenly tune a drum head, and do so independently for both the top and bottom heads, Dialtune is the modern snare drum we've all been waiting for.

While developing the next iteration of Dialtune drums, we set some lofty goals. Learning as much as we could from the launch of our Maker’s Series, we outlined three key objectives for the drums we will be releasing later this year.

Upgraded materials. Though our original Dialtune snares were designed to last, we have made subtle yet critical improvements to the design and materials to ensure even more reliability and less maintenance over the life of the drum.
Quality-of-Life Improvements. We're constantly seeking to develop the best possible experience for drummers. In the next iteration of Dialtune, we've added a number of quality-of-life improvements to existing features, and we have a couple surprises in store, including something new and never before seen on a Dialtune drum (stay tuned for more info!)
New Competitive Pricing. Dialtune drums are a premium product. However, we know that the cost of the Maker’s Series put our drums out of reach for many. This is why we have been working so hard over the past year to streamline our production process and reduce costs to make Dialtune drums more readily available, and at a price that won’t break the bank.
