So in love with this drum set! Beautiful to look at, quick tuning and changing drum heads quick is one of the main things that made me get this set. Heck I got the aluminum spun snare months before the set came to me so I knew first hand how quick tuning and changing drum heads were. So far used it twice at church and everyone loves the sound and look of it! Kinda wish it had a tom mount on the bass drum but I understand why there isn’t.. IFYKYK 😂 All in all, it is my favorite set! (I have 3 different sets as well 😭😁)

I’ve got one of their maple burst snares and it’s the best snare drum I’ve ever had. I agree with what people say here in that I’ve been playing drums for well over 50 years and this is the first innovation in decades that actually works and does what they say it will do. It’s a game changer and an incredible sounding drum. Maybe someday I’ll get one of their full kits!

I’m coming up on 40 years of professional drumming later this year and I don’t recall anything as exciting as Dialtune drums. I’ve had a snare drum for a while now and I play it on over 200 shows a year. Having the ability to quickly change tuning between songs is amazing. It’s almost like changing a patch on keyboards or a pedalboard. I tune down for a ballad and crank it up for some extra crack. I like the snares so much I had to have the full kit when it became available. I still love my Slingerland and Ludwig kits and Pearl supplies 2 kits on my regular gig but my Dialtunes are now in my recording studio. I haven’t purchased a new kit in 29 years if that tells you anything. I hope you enjoy discovering Dialtune as much as I am.

Hello Folks!

My name is Johnny and when I first heard about dialtune I immediately loved the idea of independent dial tuning for both the reso and batter side heads so I jumped on the opportunity to get in on the Launch Edition 5piece kit in matte white. Kit #94 arrived early May and wow! Once setup.. It only took me about 30 minutes to have this kit dialed in to sound like me. I did change out the supplied 10” batter head for a thinner Clear Ambassador to open it up and I took the foam off the batter emad and went with a DW bass drum pillow to brighten up the attack on the kick and that’s it! I really think the dialtune revolution is going to be an amazing asset for students and drummers who have trouble understanding drum tuning. As well, several of my music teacher friends love the idea as most of them aren’t drummers. Another trick I discovered and shared with our awesome creator Mr. Bedson is tuning the top and bottom heads for these drums by plucking the strings. This works!! Want to dial the same tension on the top and bottom heads.. pluck the top string against the bottom string and get them to sound the same.. your dead neutral. Want to pitch bend the drums.. pluck the bottom string against tad higher than the top head etc… this is just another way to work the dialtune system. I’m sure many of you have experienced some milestones with your dialtune drums. It’d be great to hear your stories. I feel so incredibly happy with my experience with the my dialtune experience! The customer service is fantastic and I look forward to putting these to work. And yea, the drums are well put together, and tuned up so easily. Amazing has to be an understatement, and they're beautiful. So glad to have the matte white 4 piece kit.

After playing my dialtune set on several gigs, I have to admit that they are already my favorite drum set. I have always been a tuning "freak", making sure all drums are perfectly tuned for each performance. The ability to instantly tune each top and bottom head, while the lug tensions are always equal is amazing! The drums sound fantastic, with full, resonant tone and the ease of changing the resonance with a turn of a knob. The build quality and beautiful finish and hardware rival my other custom and vintage drum sets. Dialtune support has been exceptional, with quick responses and follow-up. I've never heard a kit sound this good out of the box before. Huge premium feel to it, not as heavy as you think either. Extremely relieved to get something this awesome after selling my DW design series to make room for it.

I recently received my four piece kit. I used it on a session recently and what I found was this. The shells are a bit thicker than other drums naturally because of the cable tuning system. This is a major benefit to recording, the response from strikes are accurate and pure. The tone of the drums are of a flat nature so it records great and leaves all the fluffy eq stuff to the engineers. I'm very happy with the drums and I would recommend them to everyone.

I recently took possession of my new dialtune set in matte white. The tone is amazing, and the ability to independently tune each heat with a dial makes it the easiest set ever to play. I keep going back each day and play them a lot because they sound that good. The construction and look of the set is sturdy and impressive. I'm very happy with this set. It was worth waiting for. Highly recommended. 5 stars!

I’m delighted with the drum set — it’s definitely a game changer. The ability to change tunings or even make tuning corrections during live sessions is a feature that’s greatly appreciated. The fact that each drumhead can be tuned independently also makes this kit a true gem, since it allows for a very wide tuning range and countless combinations, in a way similar to traditional tuning systems. This also lets you continue using tools like the Tune-Bot to standardize and replicate your tuning setups.

I’m really looking forward to the introduction of more wood types, and even hybrid shell options would be incredible. This has definitely been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

I received my 3 piece Matte Black kit 2 weeks ago. It has turned out to be as great as i could have wanted. I had a studio recording session last week and brought my DW kit which i of course love, and also brought the new Dialtune kit. We set both up to get tones and see which was sounding better. I had expected we would track with the DW. But it turned out the Dialtune kit sounded significantly better! We tracked with it and the drums came out fantastic. Really happy with Dialtune, im now using it on my live gigs too. I’m even ordering a 10” tom to complete this kit😃

I had been waiting for these drums since I first bought the Dialtune snare drum and I ended up with kit #12 of the first batch. These drums are everything I had hoped they would be. When I set them up, they tuned instantly and sounded amazing. I prefer Ambassador heads, so ordered them and once they arrived, it took literally 5 minutes to change all the heads! Until this drum kit, I've never been able to hear so clearly the relationship between the top and bottom heads and how you can play with the tones by adjusting the bottom head. Besides the revolutionary tuning system, the six ply, maple drum shells, project and sound punchy and warm. If you're looking for a new drum set look no further. Amazing design!

I ordered my complete set in August in batch one. Prior to ordering it I had done quite a bit of research and online reviews of the snare drum itself as it had been out for sometime at that point. It was a novel idea and it seemed to hold up to scrutiny and punishment very well.

Just to get a small grip out of the way, a few of the grub screws for the dials were a bit loose on the drums. I contacted customer support and was responded to immediately with photos and tool sizes in order to double check that everything is tightened properly. After doing so everything was absolutely perfect.

I have about 20 hours of time on the set and I couldn’t be happier. The ability to adjust your tone at a moments noticed is amazing. Beyond that, the drum hardware itself is top quality. As well as the maple shells.

After owning the snare drum for about seven months, I was a little bit concerned about the weight of the complete kit itself. I was surprised to find that all of the toms, and the kick drum itself were similar in weight to any standard drum. I couldn’t be happier with the purchase and it is by far the best drum set I’ve ever owned. And I can’t speak more highly of the customer service. I was always responded to promptly even while awaiting the pre-order which did take a bit longer than expected. They seem to really have their stuff down, and I would absolutely order more of their products without thinking twice. They stand behind what they built and what they built is game changing and amazing.

After I set up my kit, I had them tuned up and sounding great it just a couple of minutes! I can’t tell you much time I saved at the tuning table tweaking the tuning. They sound great. I’m excited to try different heads etc and see what these maple shells can do! I believe this is a game changer for gigging and recording. I had one small item that needed attention from their team and they were all over it and got me dialed in right away! Great start Dialtune!
