Why We Built This Kit
It started with a problem every drummer knows: tuning. Long soundchecks, unpredictable rooms, fighting with tension rods. Bryan Bedson, founder of Dialtune, sketched a wild idea inspired by the Boa binding system on his snowboard boots. He asked himself, what if drums tuned like guitars — evenly, instantly, reliably?
That sketch became a prototype. That prototype became patents. Those patents became snares trusted by hundreds of pro drummers on the world’s biggest stages. And now, those snares have become a full kit — the first of its kind.
